(This is all a reference to our province's ever-tightening driving laws on new young drivers to prevent accidents. You receive an L if you pass a written test when 16+, which permits you to drive with an adult. You take your N driving test one year later which permits you to drive one non-adult around. If you fail, you get to take the test again a month later.)
